Wyoming INBRE is offering a weekly seminar: Topics in Biomedical Research.
The sessions are Wednesdays from July 8th – August 12th, 2020 at 9:30 am Mountain 8:30 am Pacific.
This seminar is geared towards highly motivated students wishing to gain competence in critically
reading and evaluating primary research papers. Discussions will focus on a wide range of recent
high-impact papers including topics on CRISPR-based methods to modify genomes as well as latebreaking
papers relevant to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Research papers will be drawn from subject
areas spanning molecular genetics, cell biology, developmental biology, immunology, biochemistry,
and -omics.
